Our Story
Nicolle Croft
With 35 years experience in the Bordeaux region, I have promoted wine tourism specialised in Small Independent Producers (SIPs). This is a crucial time in Bordeaux, it is now that we need to help the small producers. Only 45% of vineyards are family-owned in Bordeaux and the percentage is decreasing continually in the tough climate.
Small Independent Producers (SIPs)
Small Independent Producers (SIPs) - the real wine producers with wine-stained hands and soil on their shoes. They lie just the ‘other side of the boundary’ to famous neighbours, offering wines of a similar terroir at a fraction of the cost. I believe they are the real fabric of what Bordeaux is and I am excited to guide you off-the-beaten-track to the Small Independent Producers through the SIP Wine Club.
SIP Wine Club
Members of the SIP Wine Club will benefit from a curated case of 6 SIP wines delivered direct from the vineyards to your door. Each Spring and Autumn, your case will arrive complete with detailed tasting notes, videos featuring the winemakers, my personal tasting videos for each wine, and recipe suggestions to get the most out of them.
How Does It Work?
The wine comes to you twice a year, the first time in spring and the second in the fall. In each case you will receive 6 carefully selected bottles, from 4 different S.I.Ps curated by Nicolle Croft. Whether you're an experienced wine enthusiast or just discovering a new world of flavors, we'll happily deliver from the vineyards of Bordeaux to your doorstep. Each case comes with detailed information of the wines, videos with the winemaker, tasting notes, and food pairing suggestions to enhance your wine drinking experience.
